Hike to Creston Mountain Lighthouse

My wife and I have been to Mazatlan before, and since this cruise was 19 days long - 19 days of way more food than we normally eat - we tried to choose excursions that would give us good exercise. We were not disappointed that regard. In fact, we were pleased with every aspect. Our guide is a local realtor who had a wealth of information about the entire city, as well as the lighthouse. The views of the city from the summit are spectacular and would be worth the hike, even if the lighthouse wasn't there. We recommend this rather unique excursion if you want the exertion!

Unfortunately the ship was several hours late getting into port so our scheduled hiking excursion had already left before we arrived. However the tour company staff was great- very friendly and helpful. They placed us on a longer/more costly city tour at no expense to us. It was a wonderful experience!
