Curacao Island and Beach Tour
Your tour of Curacao, rich with culture and natural beauty, begins with a scenic drive through the Otrabanda residential area of Willemstad, the capital. The area's impressive history has earned it designation as a UNESCO World Heritage City. You will view the St. Anna Bay, an inlet that bisects the capital city, dividing it into two notable regions. At the west entrance of the St. Anna Bay stands the Riffort, which was built to protect the city in 1828 and is now filled with restaurants and shops. Pass by the Queen Emma Bridge, a floating pontoon bridge known for its beauty and function as a moveable bridge that allows vessels to enter the bay. Cross the Queen Juliana Bridge, which offers a colorful view of Willemstad's unique pastel colored buildings.
Your first stop is the plantation house Chobolobo, where you can see how authentic Blue Curacao Liquor is made while enjoying some tasty samples. Next, the tour takes you to the east side of the island through the Spanish water area, where views of the cliffs along Caracas Bay will take your breath away.
A two hour stop at Mambo Beach will give you the chance to enjoy this beautiful beach and the water. Bring your sunblock and comfortable walking shoes. Discover Mambo Beach Boulevard, a unique concept for the island that combines shopping, dining, entertainment and the best beach Curacao has to offer.
The tour concludes with a pass through the Scharloo area, a historic Jewish neighborhood with colorful architecture marked with unique elegance. For those who want to experience the sights and climate of Curacao, this tour can't be beat.
Please Note: The entrance fee to the Mambo Beach is included; however, amenities offered by the beach such as beach chairs and access to the swimming pool, are not included.

Our tour guide was excellent, telling about all the islands history, culture and current events. The beach has shops and cafes. The tour doesn't provide beach chairs. You have to rent them
The tour started promptly in a nice air conditioned spacious bus. Our guide was funny, personable, knowledgeable and very well organized. We had plenty of time to see everything at each stop but not enough time to get bored. There’s a small area to shop when you get off the ship with free WiFi. From there we boarded the bus and toured Curaçao. The guide explained what we were looking at. Then we went to the distillery and got to sample the liquor. From there we went to the beach. There are some shops, restaurants bars and clean facilities at the beach as well if you were interested. Side note...make sure you have your ticket. They really do collect/look for it. I forgot mine and they were very kind to work with me, but I had a screenshot on my phone.

Overall decent tour. Great to see a number of places. Would be helpful to know in advance (fr the guide when we start out) what the stops will be and when. People on tour with different options so it was as bit confusing about what was going on. Guide and driver very congenial and friendly. Appreciated the language info - what words mean. Guide was very adaptive to crowd and knowledgeable. Overall worthwhile and fun.
