ATV Island Adventure
This 3.5-hour ATV tour takes you on an unforgettable ride across the tropical island of Aruba with stops to see some of Aruba's best landmark sites.
Your journey begins when you will don your helmet and have a quick safety briefing. Then you're off, twisting and turning your way through the countryside to the Bushiribana Gold Mill Ruins. Upon arrival, take a few minutes to explore the gold smelter while you learn about the Aruban Gold Rush. From the early 1800's to about 1916, this tiny island produced more than 3 million pounds of gold!
From there you will head to Baby Bridge, a natural bridge formed out of coral limestone that was a remnant of an ancient cave. Take the winding road lined with white crosses to the bright yellow Alto Vista Chapel, built in 1750 by a Spanish missionary. Round out your off-road experience with a stop at the California Lighthouse, a 98-foot-tall structure named after the steamship California which was wrecked nearby in 1891.
Make a stop at Arashi Beach for a quick dip in the beautiful Caribbean waters, this area is a settlement and beach on the northwestern tip of Aruba, in Noord district. The beach is a very popular location for taking a swim.
There's no better, or more exciting way, to get a great overview of Aruba than with this small and personalized ATV tour. Book now.

I can’t recommend this tour highly enough; from start to finish it was everything we hoped it would be! Our guide, Francisco, doubled as a photographer and suggested a number of great, scenic places to take our picture. Throughout the afternoon, we visited the collapsed stone bridge, chapel, gold refinery ruins, lighthouse, and a secluded beach with 10-15 minutes to explore each place. We traveled by 4-wheeler and zoomed along city streets and rocky backroads. A particular highlight for me was rolling across the volcanic plain to the Lighthouse - I felt like I was in Mad Max. One tip: bring goggles or buy them (or the face mask) from the tour group. Some of the roads are dusty, and it will get in your eyes. Dusty or not, though, if you’re after adventure this tour is for you. I’d do it again in a heartbeat!

It was our first time riding ATV's, it was great, we were a small intimate group that received Preston's full attention. The landmarks, the beach and the Island were great. A excursion we will always remember

We had a great time on our ATV. There was a bit more in town driving than expected but plenty of off road adventure. We saw ruins, natural bridges, a church, an overlook, and lighthouse. I was uncomfortable due to my age/arthritic hip joints and my single ATV didn't offer much variety in foot position. The guide noticed my discomfort and offered me his larger ATV. Standing up for the biggest bumps also helped. Be prepared that eye protection and face mask is recommended for this ride and they sell goggles and scarfs. I opted to wear sunglasses and it was not a problem. I was glad to have the scarf though. Other members in my family went for the goggles and found them comfortable. My ATV malfunctioned on the ride but it might have just been vapor lock or something as after a few moments it was running fine again. The stop for a swim at a beach was very nice and the water was beautiful. We really enjoyed this excursion and it was a definite highlight of our cruise.
If you don't have an ATV experience, this trip might be on the more difficult side since some of the paths are pretty rocky. However, we saw a lot of the island and had sufficient time to take pictures at each top. Would definitely recommend this tour for any outgoing, active people. The views and stops were amazing, and ATV'ing around the island was a ton of fun. Just remember lots of sunscreen, or wear a thin long-sleeve shirt, the sun is very intense in Aruba.

This was an amazing tour of Aruba. I would highly recommend it. Our guide Preston was absolutely fabulous. He gave us a running narrative of all of the points of interest that we passed. We were supposed to be a group of two, but the other party did not show. So we had Preston all to ourselves. Once we got comfortable driving the ATV, he increased the speed and our fun level went up with it. The ATV was a one behind the other configuration with a back rest. This really helped my wife, since she had fears of falling off the back (I can get a bit carried away at times) ;) I would recommend that you ask for Preston if he is available.
