The tour itself was very good and the guide was excellent. However, I was surprised to learn that we would have to find our own transportation to the Boston Library from the ship. That made me re-consider booking an excursion from Costco - rather would be on ship and they always provide transportation. The paperwork never stated that you would need to find your own transportation.
This is a tour worth a few hours of your time. A wonderful history lesson through a beautiful city. Alan was a great tour guide, friendly and knowledgeable with a special flair of humor.
This was the best tour we took. It was a walking tour with an excellent guide, and only a few people. I feel like I really got a good overview of Boston. So much better than a bus tour where you just look out the window.
