The Bandol wine region of France, located near the coast east of Marseille and Cassis, is one of Provence's most internationally recognized wine regions. Discover for yourself as your full-day tour begins by taking the Gineste road which follows the coast of the Mediterranean Sea.

Make your way up to the Cap Canaille, the highest maritime cliff in Europe which offers a stunning view over the Bay of Cassis. This small village is famous for its fishing port, overlooked by a centuries-old chateau, with pebbly beaches and its Calanques, narrow inlets framed by steep, limestone cliffs. The harbor features pastel-colored buildings, sidewalk cafes, and restaurants. A National Natural Park was created in 2012 to preserve this exceptional natural site. Enjoy a wine tasting at a vineyard in Cassis, the famous white wines of Cassis are widely praised by connoisseurs.

Continue your day with exploration in the village of Le Castellet. The village is one of the Var region's top tourist attractions. This charming, picturesque little feudal village perched on the tip of its promontory will enchant you with its typical Provencal picturesque setting. The small squares lined with beautiful old houses have been carefully restored with taste highlighting the old stonework. You will have free time here for a relaxing and delicious lunch (at your own expense).

After lunch, you will next travel to Bandol which is famous for its AOC Vins de Bandol, fruity and fresh rose wines. The Bandol area is famous for red wines which are regarded as some of the best reds from Provence. Have a walk in the Domaine and see the vineyards and the centenary olive trees. Enjoy a wine tasting in a private cellar where a sommelier will teach you everything you need to know concerning wine tasting technics.

At the designated time and place you will meet your transportation for the return trip to the port of Marseille, approximately 1 hour away.
