Private Driver Guide - Full Day

On this private Bangkok tour, all problems of haggling and mapping are solved. A professional guide will ensure you enjoy private transport on a delightful journey, beginning at the Royal Grand Palace. Upon seeing breathtaking designs, you'll board a long-tailed boat to the Royal Regalia Museum and Flower Market. The next part of your Bankgok tour takes you to the famous Emerald Buddha before seeing the Golden Buddha at Wat Trimitr. Closing your tour, you'll drive through Chinatown to explore the Jim Thompson House.

Reaching the ornate complex of the Royal Grand Palace is a true visual treat. Built in 1782 for the Kings of Siam, it still conducts business on behalf of the Thai King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX). You'll have access to many of the Buddhist influenced halls, pavilions, and gardens to see sights like the Golden Chedi and the Pantheon of the Chakri Kings.

As the sounds of monk's incantations hum, you'll board a boat to cruise along the busy Chao Phraya River and reach the Royal Regalia Museum. The inside of the grand structure features gold armaments, coins, and regalia collected over the ages.

Thereafter, you'll reach the spectacular Flower Market on Pak Klong Talad. A bevy of colorful flowers and interesting items are available 24 hours a day. Next is a pleasant visit to the popular Wat Phra Kaew (The Emerald Buddha). Thailand's most sacred Buddha image, made of green jadeite, is housed in a lovely temple still used by the royal family.

You'll then be escorted to the Golden Buddha at Wat Traimit. Weighing in at an astounding 5.5 tons, it is valued at $250 million. The Golden Buddha is a big draw for both tourists and monks.

Next up is a drive through busy Chinatown en-route to the Jim Thompson House. The famous silk merchant and architect (who disappeared in 1967) built this defining Thai influenced mansion. His objects d'art are proudly displayed for your pleasure.

This robust Bangkok tour ensures you see some coveted sights with the comfort of private transport. Book now for an unforgettable experience at a great price.

My husband I are thinking about this tour. We would like to meet up with others who are interested in going on April 8. Also we would like to know if it can be customized into a longer trip that includes Ayutthaya

Our driver and guide were terrific. We covered a lot of ground and got back to ship with an hour to spare (our fault for delay). Far better than ship tours and vehicle was nice, water provided, and both guide and driver went above and beyond in taking care of us. Very happy.
