Helsinki is also called "the Daughter of the Baltic," or "the White City of the North." On this private excursion tour, you'll see the best that Helsinki, Finland offers.

You start your tour by passing the colorful open-air market; continue to the Senate Square with the elegant Lutheran Cathedral. En-route pass Uspenski Cathedral and see the Icebreakers docked for the summer season.

Then it's on to Mannerheim Street, the main street through the city, where you can see the Parliament House, the National Museum, and Finlandia Hall, which is a concert and convention center designed by famous architect Alvar Aalto. You will also pass the new Contemporary Art museum, Kiasma, designed by American architect Steven Holl.

Then you will continue on, passing the Olympic Stadium, venue for the 1952 Olympic Games, and the new Opera House, completed in 1993.

The tour then takes you to Sibelius Park, where you can photograph the monument of approximately 600 steel pipes, which honors the great Finnish composer Jean Sibelius.

Finally, your tour bus will take you to the unique Temppeliaukio Rock Church blasted into solid rock. Here there will be a short stop and if a service is not taking place, a visit inside.

You continue your drive through the city and to your cruise ship.
