Experience the best parts of the city with your knowledgeable, local guide. Delight in exploring the hills, bays and beaches in a small and intimate group that will provide you with a very one-on-one experience, so much better than the big coach tour offers.

Enter breathtaking Old St. Paul's Cathedral, crafted from fine New Zealand timber in the 1860's. Your entry is covered with a donation as part of your tour. Leaving from here continue to Oriental Bay for a quick photo stop to admire the cityscape and beachfront.

Continue along the Oriental Parade and to Mt. Victoria where you can take in the breathtaking 360-degree views that you can get nowhere else. You can't beat the view of Wellington on a good day!

Visit the grounds of Parliament and get a photo of The Beehive, home to the offices of local politicians. Enjoy a morning tea and get your photo taken with Gandalf at the Roxy Cinema, plus drive past the studios and green screen stages where many movies are made.

Visit the national museum of New Zealand, Te Papa Tongarewa. Known as Te Papa, or "Our Place", the museum opened in 1998 after the merging of the National Museum and the National Art Gallery. More than 1.5 million people visit every year. Spend an hour exploring the amazing free displays. Time is given here for a lunch break.

Arrive to the top of the famous Cable Car. Ride the iconic Wellington Cable Car; the views from the top are stunning! Your cable car fare is included in the tour price as well. There is also the opportunity to see the Wellington Botanic Gardens while here before riding the cable car down to the city.

Your transportation will be waiting for you at the bottom of the cable car and it is just but a short drive from here to return the port area and your ship.
