Bike, Hike, Sail and Snorkel Adventure (Full Day)
Bike, Hike, Sail, and Snorkel Adventure (Full Day)
We'll begin the day experiencing the majestic beauty of a towering waterfall, crossing through tranquil streams and picturesque pools, and viewing ancient lo'i (rock terraces) and lush tropical vegetation of Hawaii's paradise. This mild to moderate 2-mile round-trip hike lasts roughly 1.5 hours with a 100-foot elevation gain.
Head up to Puu Ohia near 2,000 feet in the Koolau Mountains. After gearing up, we'll begin coasting 5 miles downhill on mountain bikes over the paved road through a lush Oahu rainforest. Stopping at different overlooks, our nature tour guides will point out places of interest and geological features from high above Honolulu and Waikiki.
Once we reach the bottom, enjoy a delicious deli lunch and beverage before a quick shuttle to Kewalo Basin. With its twin 140 horsepower engines and Bose sound system, we'll board a 38-foot catamaran and set sail on a relaxing adventure off beautiful Waikiki. Learn about the Hawaiian reef and see Waikiki, Honolulu, and Leahi (Diamond Head) from a very different perspective. Swim or snorkel in the warm waters fronting Waikiki Beach as we search for honu (green sea turtles) and tropical reef fish. Nai'a (spinner dolphins) are sometimes seen playing off the wake of our catamaran. Seasonal Kohala (Pacific humpback whales) are usually seen between December through April.
Complimentary drinking water and a freshwater rinse is available for your convenience. Listen to smooth Hawaiian music from our Bose sound system and soak in some Hawaiian sun. This tour is family fun too! Even the kids will love it. The catamaran is fully equipped with two onboard restrooms, necessary life jackets for kids and adults, masks, snorkels, and swim fins for optional swimming.
Please Note: If you are a cruise passenger traveling from the port or if you are staying at a hotel outside of Waikiki, please enter "Aloha Tower Marketplace" as your departure location. This is not a transfer tour. The tour does not drop off at the airport, and the tour vehicle cannot accommodate luggage. The waterfall hike is conducted at Manoa Falls Monday through Friday and at Likeke Falls on Saturdays and holidays.
