Experience the best of Bonaire on this comprehensive tour. Explore the island's captivating nature, history, and cultural highlights with a professional guide. Start in the city's capital, Kralendijk, continuing to landmarks such as Goto Lake and Seru Largu. As you travel from destination to destination, enjoy Bonaire's stunning scenery from the comfort of your vehicle.

Begin your Bonaire tour with a drive to Kralendijk, the island's picturesque capital. Enjoy seeing historic landmarks dating back to the 19th century, such as City Hall, the Fort, and the island's first protestant church, built in 1847. Cruise along Bonaire's famous coastline and enjoy the breathtaking ocean view. The area's rustic landscape is home to iguanas, goats, wild donkeys, and unique birds such as the lora, a parrot found only in Bonaire.

Your next destination is Goto Lake, a gorgeous natural salt water lake. One of the most beautiful locations in Bonaire, this captivating lake is a popular spot among flamingos. Travel through tree-lined country lanes to Rincon Village, Bonaire's first settlement. Enjoy a brief but interesting history lesson about the village, built by Spanish explorers in the 14th century. Arrive at the entrance of Washington National Park for another glimpse into Bonaire's heritage.

Crashing waves and abundant greens welcome your drive through Seru Largu. From a hilltop, enjoy a phenomenal panoramic view of the island. Head to Bonaire's southern region, home to a salt factory and protected flamingo nesting grounds. At the salt factory, learn the modern and historical process of Bonaire's salt manufacturing. See and touch history at the Slave Huts, where you can observe original huts used by salt mining slaves in the 17th century. Afterward, enjoy a scenic drive back to port.

We had a great tour, it was easy to find our guide. Our guide was a very friendly lady, who was very informative, she showed us and explained about the slaves huts, the salt mines, the pink flamingo resorts, and all the beautiful things that caracterize Bonaire. The tour was not expensive but had a great duration. A must do if you go to Bonaire! We will go back for sure!

The whole island is beautiful, especially along the coasts, I can see staying here for a longer period. Our excellent guide took us to the salt flats and described the industry as of today, and painted a difficult picture of the past with slaves. The drive to Goto Lake was along the coast that was virtually untouched by humans; both rugged and dramatic and well worth the drive! My favourite was Washington National Park where the cactus were amazing and incorporated into farming life. Overall, a great adventure with a great guide and a lot different from other Island tours!
