Buena Vista Social Club
The Buena Vista Social Club was a members' only club in Havana, Cuba, that closed in the 1940s. The club was known for its music and the musicians that used to hang out there and jam. Travel to one of the most popular hotels in Havana, the Melia Cohiba Hotel, where you will enjoy a night of traditional Cuban music.
On your way to the hotel, you will have a view of the city's famous Malecon seafront, Havana's sea side drive, which spans almost five miles and is one of the city's most meaningful and essential main roads.
Once you arrive, discover a step back in time with 1950's style decor where displayed musical stars' memorabilia, motorbikes, antique cars and even a plane, which belonged to Cubana Airlines, all mingle to create the atmosphere. This is where Vincent Vega would get his ten-dollar shake and when the big Cuban bands, such as Van Van and Charanga Habanera play here, it is the place to be and lines form early.
Enjoy dinner with 2 beverages and the performance of Buena Vista Social Club, which ranks the highest night after night in Havana. Once the show is over you will be returned directly back to the port area and your ship.
All guests must complete a mandatory form for the Office of Foreign Assets Control of the U.S. Department of the Treasury (OFAC). A valid passport is required for all guests to travel to Cuba. We recommend guests review the passport requirements of travel to Cuba from their home country and that the expiration of your passport be greater than six months from the date of your voyage. A link will be provided to you with the form upon booking your excursion, and full details will be provided with your electronic ticket.

I would like to compliment Shore Excursions and its representative in Havana. The excursion to the Buena Vista needed to be substituted and the representative Keralia and her assistant Eduardo were very creative and effective in sending us to a very special show at the Hotel National. Don't know how they arranged to get us such a great ringside table but it was much appreciated.
