Coast Line and Casablanca (Post Cruise)

After meeting your local representative from the cruise ship pier in San Antonio, continue exploring Chile with this day of traveling the Chilean coast and into the wine valley region.

Make sure you have your camera at the ready and begin your panoramic tour of the coastline from San Antonio, driving through sea side towns such as Cartagena, San Sebastian, Isla Negra, El Tabo, El Quisco and finally Algarrobo where you will stop to see the largest swimming pool on earth "San Alfonso del Mar" and take a walk around a wetland. Next, your drive takes you to Casablanca Valley, a renowned wine growing region. The valley's cool climate makes it the ideal environment for vineyards.

Enjoy a wine tasting and vineyard tour while here at one of the beautiful wineries. Situated on the coastal plain between Santiago and Valparaiso, the valley is relatively new to the wine industry. Casablanca Valley boasts many cellars and boutique wineries. The region has gained recognition in particular for the white wine production as well as stunning reds.

Before leaving the valley you will also indulge in a delicious lunch at one of the wineries or at a local authentic restaurant in the area.

Your tour will end as you make your way to Santiago with a panoramic ride to either the airport or your hotel.

Look no further for the perfect Chilean coastal and wine valley day trip after your cruise has ended, book today.

Please Note: This tour is for passengers ending their cruise in San Antonio. The tour will begin at the cruise ship and will end at either the airport in Santiago or a hotel in the central Santiago area. If you are on a flight from Santiago on the same day of the tour, your flight must be scheduled to depart Santiago airport after 7:00 PM.

An excellent excursion
March 26, 2020
Since Cruise ships dock at San Antonio, it is about 60 Km to get to the airport or to Santiago. Purchased on board, the trip is about 2x as expensive as this excursion, for just a one-way direct bus ride, arriving possibly four hours earlier than your flight or room. Why not also enjoy a guided excursion throughout highlights of the region and arrive refreshed? No-brainer!

Great finish to our Cruise (Mar/20)
March 26, 2020
We thoroughly enjoyed our day. The group was small enough that we didn't feel herded or rushed at each of the stops. Stops included walking through some rough paths and sandy beach areas, so suitable footwear is definitely recommended. The lunch stop was also terrific! Such lovely service and food provided by the hosts. We would definitely recommend this tour!

Wonderful Chile Excursion
June 14, 2019
My family spent the day we arrived after our cruise in San Antonio. We spent a fabulous day on the coastal tour including an organic Chilean winery. After the full day touring, our air conditioned motor coach dropped us conveniently at the airport for our flight home.
