Reef Snorkel and Glass Bottom Boat
Glass Bottom Boat or Snorkeling Adventure
There's an incredible world below Cozumel. Discover the underwater treasures of Cozumel by snorkeling its reefs or watching through a glass-bottom boat. Either way, the Reef Snorkel and Glass-Bottom Boat Cozumel tour is a great tour for all!
Departing from the southwest side of the island, this Cozumel excursion gets you to the reef in no time. In groups of 25 or fewer, you will discover Cozumel's underwater world of reefs, sea life, and colorful tropical fish, all surrounded by the stunning, turquoise, crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean.
Your friendly professional crew will take care of you every step of the way, no matter if you are an expert snorkeler or trying for the first time. A mask, snorkel, mandatory life vest and fins will be provided to allow you to enjoy your snorkeling with absolute comfort and safety. Your captain will look for the very best spots, based on the day's weather and water conditions. Typically, three stops will be made, often along Cardona, Corona, Dzul-Ha Reef or some of the other reefs that dot the coast. Snorkel stops are approximately 40 minutes each. The number of stops and locations will be up to the captain based on conditions.
Not a swimmer? That's not a problem. You still can view the beauty of the underwater world through a glass-bottom panel viewer that lets you see the world beneath the boat. The viewing area has seats around it allowing guests to sit as they take turns looking down through the two windows in the hull.
Once the snorkeling is over, refreshments such as ice cold purified water, sodas and local beers will be served during the return to the starting point, while you enjoy the view of the beautiful coastline.
Please Note: The tour price does not include the $3 US per person National Marine Park Access Fee, which must be paid in cash the day of the tour.

We were the only ones for this trip at 11 AM so they set out early, taking us only a short distance up the coast to the first site. Our guide was knowledgable and didn’t rush us. Saw lots of fish. The coral was relatively new, he explained, because it was growing back slowly from the destructive hurricane Wilma in 2013. We worked our way back toward the harbor for the second and third sites with only a brief time on the boat in between. The whole experience was shorter than advertised but then we didn’t need to wait for anyone else getting in and out if the water. Appreciated the drinks and chips. Walked back to the ship, less than a half hour strollstraight up the road, couldn’t get lost.

The crew members on this excursion were fantastic. The captain kept the younger family members mesmerized feeding fish while the adults snorkeled. The site was easy to find and just a 5 minute taxi ride from the dock. Really an awesome side trip for all ages.

It was very good. We were very happy with the tour and the guide. We had a problem with the photographer. He took all the pictures on the boat and in the sea however when we arrived at the port he tried to sell it to us for a highly expensive price 50 usd a CD????

We ended up not going because we had to be back to the ship earlier than expected and the ship would have left without us, I was so looking forward to the excursion and sad we couldn't go in addition to loosing $108.
