Tango Dinner Show
Experience an authentic, fun and exciting Buenos Aires Tango show while enjoying a delicious Argentine and international dinner.
You will be picked up at the pier and transferred downtown to meet your tour guide. From here, you will travel to a famous and historical theater, and enjoy a truly unique experience.
Tango is the national dance of Argentina, combining influences from European and African culture. The dance originated in lower-class districts of Buenos Aires in the 1890s and soon became popular throughout society, as theatres and street barrel organs spread it from the suburbs to the working-class neighborhoods, which were packed with hundreds of thousands of European immigrants, primarily Italians, Spanish and French. Today, Tango is considered one of the most beautiful dances in the world.
When you arrive at the Tango theater, you will become part of the traditional atmosphere as you are escorted to your table for dinner near the professional dance floor and stage where renowned Tango artists will perform. At your table, you will enjoy the best Argentine and international cuisine, with a great variety of delicious options. Sample local culinary delights and/or enjoy a more international selection of dishes including a very impressive selection of appetizers, entrees and desserts.
After dinner, sit back, relax, and enjoy a world-class Tango show. Professional dancers will amaze you with their grace, agility and beauty. You will also enjoy authentic Tango music, played in the city where it all began. Watch as these marvelous artists give it their all for a two-hour show in order to provide a wonderful experience for their guests.
After the show, the Tango theater personnel will assist you in a hiring a taxi for the 10-minute drive back to the ship pier. The cost of the taxi is approximately $12 US for the taxi (not per person) and is not included in the price of your tour.

Have been to Tango Dinner Shows in the past. Enjoyed the difference as it brings you up through the history and style of Tango Dancing. We would have understood this from beginning if company had followed customized booking from the initial booking. We even confirmed the morning of at our Hotel. We were not to be picked up at the ship as we arrived 2 days early to tour Buenos Aires. Again, hotel called for status when van was 10 min. late and said were on their way. Ended up one hour late so we had to take a taxi and on arrival were seated at the very back of room and plus rushed our dinner before show. Would recommend BUT make sure agent repeats booking info.
This was a fantastic show. Downside was the pickup time and location. We waited an hour to be picked up. Once picked up everything was smooth sailing.
