After checking in at the tour office and filling out your paperwork, you will have a safety briefing on the operation of your ATV. Then get ready for some real Alaskan excitement in the Alaskan Boreal Forest!
Traveling at speeds up to 30 miles per hour, maneuver through the taiga to picturesque panoramas of the Alaska Range. Observe glacial moraines and historic archeological dig sites while navigating tree-rutted trails, mountain-fed creek beds, and boggy tundra. Spend more time riding on the trail than any other Denali area off-road adventure tour.
You may learn how to make fireweed tea, leave with a blueberry smile, or even chat about survival. Periodic stops are made for photography and wildlife sightings. The trails are challenging for all experience levels. The tour covers about 20 miles with 2 and a half hours on the trails.
A helmet, goggles, and gloves will be provided. Helmets are required by law. Eye protection, either the provided goggles or your sunglasses or glasses, is mandatory.
Please Note: If you are staying in the Talkeetna area (McKinley Princess Lodge, Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge etc.), you are approximately 100 miles from the Denali Park main gate area, from where this tour departs. You are responsible for your own transportation to the Denali area.
