Exclusive Offroad ATV Jungle Adventure
Avoid the big crowds on this Exclusive Off-Road ATV Jungle Adventure. With an average group size of only 10 ATVs, you will fully enjoy your exciting Cozumel excursion into the jungle! The emphasis is on having a memorable ATV ride but you may learn a little history along the way.
From the downtown meeting location, you will be transferred to the native village of El Cedral, where you will receive instructions and take a test run before you begin your journey. From here, your guide will lead you along the jungle trail, following a winding and sometimes bumpy dirt path. The riding time is approximately 1.5 hours. Helmets are mandatory and safety goggles are available for those wishing them.
Time and trail conditions allowing, you may make a quick visit to a natural sinkhole and fascinating underground cave. Or, you may see an off-the-beaten-track small Mayan ruin for a glimpse into the history of this amazing and somewhat mystical civilization.
Please note: Drivers must be 16 with a valid driver's license in their possession. Riders must be a minimum of six years old to ride. You may get dirty on the ATV portion of the tour, so please dress appropriately. If the path is dry it can become very dusty. You may wish to bring a bandana. You are going into the jungle and insects are to be expected. Bandanas and insect repellent are available for sale at the beginning of the tour for guests who did not bring their own.

This was an exciting excursion. My husband and I had a great time riding ATV's through the jungle. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. We took great pics and this will always be an excursion we will ever forget.
My husband I love going on ATV's and this ride did not disappoint. It is a very rocky ride but you get to see all sorts of things and have a great time. Our guide was great - we were with another family who had far more skills on ATVs than we did but we were able to keep up. Well worth the money! Just be prepared to come back absolutely filthy!
Fun, fun, fun-the guides were awesome, kind and very informative. You could see they genuinely cared about the customer and enjoyed what they did. Bathroom a plus! Only con was a small snack of chips & salsa, so bring a snack for the trip back you as you will be hungry, it is a work out for sure. I would not advise this to anyone with disabilities or any back/neck pain or if you have been drinking. DO NOT WEAR FLIP FLOPS OR SANDALS..... Also bring or wear a pair of shoes you hate because when you are done riding you will not be able to wear them, the ship will NOT wash them :( you will also need some goggles & bandana...we brought our own, if you don't you can rent them there, also pay for a locker they request you do not want to loose your stuff. One last thing, rent your own SINGLE, way more fun. Enjoy!
Sorry but I consider ""Exhausting"" to be a PRO and not a con so I checked it but it should be in the box above and not in the Cons so I added it up there where it belongs. This ride started out in the sunlight and ended up in the pouring rain with puddles and mud everywhere which actually only made it more fun. I could have lived without the come on's for pictures with the birds and pictures of the ride for sale but I understand that people have to make a living. The route was well laid out with enough ""jungle"" and bumps and puddles etc. Overall a great experience.
You will get dirty, maybe wet and, if so, muddy. Still, in case you're thinking that ATVs are only for the young, my wife & I are in our 60s. That said, we did this excursion in 2013 and again in 2014 and I don't know of any more genuine endorsement than going back for more. Have a blast!
