Our guide had worked in the Vatican for a number of years and knew and was known by everyone working there, which made getting around with all of the crowds much easier. Before we started and went inside, he took an I-pad, and showed us all of the things we would see. He broke up the tour into segments, and did this for each segment. Not only did he show us the things to look for, be explained in depth all about them We now understand so much about different things we have seen on several of the trip. We have probably done a hundred different excursions over the years, but this guide made this trip extremely special and more than worthwhile. We only had two other couples in our group which also helped to make it great, yes there was a total of six of us. Look at all the other groups going thru, and they have 30 to 40 people trying to hear over a headset. Go with this small group Excursion, and try to get this guide.
