After leaving the port you will be taken on a short drive through the historic town of Falmouth then unto your White Water adventure which is approximately 25 minutes away along the scenic coast.
Upon arrival you will walk along the jungle trail, leading you to the launching point of your tubing adventure. After receiving some final instructions from your guides, it's time to jump in your tube and begin your exciting river adventure.
A mix of currents carry you downstream as you sit back and admire the natural surroundings of the river valley before feeling the rush of the splashing rapids. The course takes you over a variety of class 2 river rapids, each followed by a calm section to chill out and lounge in your tube. There is a stop along the way for a chance to swim in the water and try out the Tarzan rope swing, a popular activity for everyone to enjoy.
As the river begins to slow down, you enter the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea. From there you are pulled by boat (weather permitting) until landing ashore on a beautiful private beach. At the beach you can purchase a refreshing drink, take a dip in the sea, and view some of the amazing photographs taken by our professional photographer. The float usually takes between 45 to 55 minutes depending on the current and how much time is taken at the midway stop. Your driver, will safe guard your belongings during your Falmouth shore trip, and will meet you at the end of the river.
The river currents carry your tube over one final cascade as you pass under an old colonial stone bridge and head towards the Caribbean Sea where you will paddle your tube to a private beach. Here you will have approximately 30 minutes free time to swim, sun or purchase a refreshment from the beach bar. Before returning to your ship we stop at Columbus open air Museum where there is Scotchies Restaurant where you can purchase some local authentic Jamaican food.
This was a fun excursion, more calm water than rapids. The river was clear and refreshing, our river guide and driver were fun and gave us fun information about history of the area and the river.

We enjoyed ourselves.
We Were lucky enough to have Darlin as our guide. He was amazing. He made sure we were all safe. There were 4 of us, 2 kids ages 12 and 15. We all enjoyed the excursion so much and would absolutely do the same one again next time. It was just the perfect amount of small rapids for our family. The lazier sections were also so nice. So nice to have such a small group, just our fam of 4 and the guide.

My nephew is still talking about the trip
If you're looking for something wild - this is not it. Good for a very moderate activity. But it was still fun.
