My husband and I had a great time on this tour. There was a lot of food and it was all very good. We also really enjoyed walking around South Beach and felt we got to see a lot of it in a reasonable amount of time.
Our guide was great. Nov 6,2015. Everything was perfect. Food choices were interesting and tasty. Enjoyed the other guests. I knew we wouldn't be able to do south beach without a guide, so we were pleased. We did little Havana by ourselves. Maybe we didn't get stories, but we ate good things. However, we were supposed to get notes about what we ate so that we wouldn't have to write things as we went along, but never got the descriptions.
My husband and I are foodies. We booked this tour to fill an evening prior to boarding for a cruise and we were so glad we did. The walking was easy, the food fabulous. Our tour guide was a culinary student and was able to tell us a brief history of the food and drinks we had at each stop. She also shared some information about the city itself, the history and architecture. The best stop was the last one; a gelateria on Hispanola Street!

My husband and I booked this tour for the night before a cruise. Although we had a hard time getting a cab from the hotel to meet the tour and got there late, we met up with them on their second stop thinking at that point we probably missed a third of the tour. Wrong! There were so many stops after that one we soon forgot about what we missed. Our guide, Marie, was informative about not just the food, but the history of the food in the country of origin. She also told us a little about the history of the architecture, design and general culture of Miami. The tour ended on Espinola Way with some fabulous gelato. The walk around the city was easy but because of the construction on some streets, it might be difficult for someone in a wheelchair, but not impossible. It was a fabulous ""foodie"" experience for us and I would positively do it again.

Our guide made the entire tour worthwhile. She had knowledge of the buildings, décor, and culture of Miami.....not just the topic of food. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute from beginning to the end although it was necessary for us to cut our tour short due to flight constraints.
