Denali Glacier Landing by Helicopter

On Denali's first glacier landing, enjoy the thrill of standing atop the historic Yanert Glacier. We cordially welcome you to experience the vast Alaskan Wilderness firsthand, fed by the steep cliff of Mt. Deborah, which looms over the glacier valley you will land in mostly explored by TEMSCO Denali.

At our private heliport, your journey begin. With your professional pilot acting as your guide, you will soar above the harsh, uneven peaks and rolling hills of the Alaskan Backcountry as you ascend the currents of the glacially fed Yanert River from takeoff. Along the trip, don't forget keep an eye out for Dall sheep, moose, bears, and caribou.

Once you touch down on the glacier you will have unrestricted access to explore the frozen terrain. Taste some of the purest water this planet has to offer. Bring home a prehistoric rock that appeared from the enormous glacier moraines' crevices. Absorb the beautiful scenery and allow your imagination to produce images that a camera could never capture. Experience the ideal blue tones, be in awe of the surrounding mountain's soaring walls, and fall in love with Alaska the way it was meant to be experienced.

Please Note: Flights are subject to cancellation based upon weather and flight conditions determined by the pilots on base. If you are staying in the Talkeetna area (McKinley Princess Lodge, Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge, etc.), you are approximately 100 miles from the Denali Park main gate area, from which this tour departs. You would be responsible for your own transportation to the Denali area.
