Gold Creek Salmon Bake Feast Cruise Excursion

The Gold Creek Salmon Bake excursion is an Alaskan feast for all of your senses!

Experience Alaska's original outdoor salmon bake on this Juneau port tour. Upon arrival at Gold Creek Salmon Bake, Alaskan-caught wild salmon will be grilling over an open alder wood fire. The sumptuous spread has something for everyone with a variety of Alaskan entrees, sides, and blueberry cake for dessert.

During this Juneau tour, relax listening to live Alaskan folk music in a truly unique, lush rainforest environment under heated, translucent domes. Savor the aroma of wild salmon, grilling slowly over fires of fragrant alder wood, the signature entree of an all-you-can-eat Alaskan experience. And settle in for a feast for all your senses!

Take a short stroll along a natural salmon-spawning creek to the entrance of the Wagner Mine at beautiful Salmon Creek Falls where you can pan for gold, see mining relics, and look for salmon. Have fun roasting marshmallows over a campfire and taking photos at our interactive, gold rush mural. The food, entertainment, activities, and ambiance make Gold Creek Salmon Bake an Alaskan experience that is much more than a meal. Explore at your leisure, and then hop on one of the buses provided when you are ready to go back to the pier after your Juneau shore excursion.

The best wild caught Alaskan salmon I have eaten. I had five servings and wish I could have them everyday. The hot apple cider was delicious and so were the other dishes. Thumbs up for the Chef!

We were absolutely impressed with this excursion. From the bus driver with her humour and knowledge to the whole experience. The food was fantastic and the location was perfect ! Lots of choices on the buffet , no need to go hungry! Then we were dropped off right at our ship no long walk required! We would definitely recommend this to anyone going to Juneau!! Well done

The food was delicious, the best salmon I’ve ever tasted. It was cooked over a wood fire with a glaze. The rest of the food was good too. It was in a beautiful wooded setting. A short walk took you to some beautiful waterfalls. The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is there was supposed to be native Alaskan live entertainment but there was none. Also the dessert was a bit disappointing.

Large serving area, plenty of tables. Great salmon with a basting sauce that was divine. setting was wooded and very pleasant, short stroll to a waterfall. Clean restrooms and a gift shop. The only disappointment was no live music at the time, dictated by town city ordinance.

The food was delicious and had a wide variety of items. The tables were plenty and covered since the weather wasn't the greatest. The bus driver was friendly, prompt and knowledgable.
