Gold Creek Salmon Bake Feast Cruise Excursion

The Gold Creek Salmon Bake excursion is an Alaskan feast for all of your senses!

Experience Alaska's original outdoor salmon bake on this Juneau port tour. Upon arrival at Gold Creek Salmon Bake, Alaskan-caught wild salmon will be grilling over an open alder wood fire. The sumptuous spread has something for everyone with a variety of Alaskan entrees, sides, and blueberry cake for dessert.

During this Juneau tour, relax listening to live Alaskan folk music in a truly unique, lush rainforest environment under heated, translucent domes. Savor the aroma of wild salmon, grilling slowly over fires of fragrant alder wood, the signature entree of an all-you-can-eat Alaskan experience. And settle in for a feast for all your senses!

Take a short stroll along a natural salmon-spawning creek to the entrance of the Wagner Mine at beautiful Salmon Creek Falls where you can pan for gold, see mining relics, and look for salmon. Have fun roasting marshmallows over a campfire and taking photos at our interactive, gold rush mural. The food, entertainment, activities, and ambiance make Gold Creek Salmon Bake an Alaskan experience that is much more than a meal. Explore at your leisure, and then hop on one of the buses provided when you are ready to go back to the pier after your Juneau shore excursion.

The salmon was excellent, as well as all the other items served with the meal. Everyone was quite welcoming and pleasant in spite of the rainy day. I would highly recommend this Salmon bake.

4 StarsGreat salmon and a great venueJune 04, 2019

The food was great and the outdoor venue was beautiful. It would have been nice if our shuttle van had taken the back streets to the venue so we could see the Governor’s home up close instead of pointing it out from a distance between two government office buildings

Even though it was a rainy day, the Salmon Bake was excellent. The bake also included New England Clam Chowder, salmon salad, dessert and many other items. I would highly recommend this Salmon Bake.
