The Dolphin Swim Adventure and Turtle Farm program was established especially for you, your family and the dolphins to share a series of sensational and safe activities, while establishing a unique bond of trust.
During the tour of Grand Cayman, you will personally interact with these highly intelligent and friendly sea mammals. In an approximately 30 minute orientation, your professional instructor will teach you about dolphins, their environment, and their behavior. You will also learn actual training techniques on this Grand Cayman excursion.
Once this is complete, you will enter the water (life jackets required) to thoroughly enjoy this incredible experience with the dolphins. You'll be pushed by a dolphin while on a Boogie Board, pulled by their pectoral fins, and go swimming with them!
This excursion in Grand Cayman is one hour, with 30 minutes of swim time. Group size is limited to 12 people to ensure a very personal experience. A professional photographer will be on hand taking pictures.
After your dolphin encounter, continue the fun with your included admission to the Turtle Farm, one of Grand Cayman's greatest tourist attractions, known around the world for its conservation programs, public awareness and entertainment. The farm includes over 500 turtles separated in tanks that show the progressive stages as they age. You will learn about turtle gender, reproduction, and the programs to keep them from becoming extinct. There is also a touch tank and many opportunities for photos of the turtles. The farm is located adjacent to the Dolphin Encounter.
Your excursion fee also entitles you to a discounted admission ($20 US per person) to the Boatswain's Beach Park. Here, you will find two swimming lagoons, a nature trail with a small cave system, Predator's Reef with sharks, groupers and eels, a lagoon for a snorkeling experience, and an aviary with Caymanian and Caribbean birds flying freely in an enclosed setting. Don't miss Cayman Street, with traditional buildings featuring distinctive, locally designed porches, doorways, gardens and local artisans, as well as restaurants and gift shops. There is certainly enough to make this a full day of fun for all ages.
In order to allow you to tour at your own speed at the Turtle Farm and/or the park, fees for the taxi to and from the Dolphin Park are not included in the tour price. Taxi for the 15-minute drive between downtown and the Dolphin Park should cost you approximately $25 US each way for the vehicle. Most taxis can hold up to four guests. This gives you the ability to return at your leisure. Just make sure to return before your ship's last tender time from shore.
There is no cost for observers for the dolphin portion only, and no need to reserve; you simply pay for transportation to and from the Dolphin Park. Observers must pay to visit the turtle farm or Boatswains Park. The turtle farm is closed on Sundays. The facility has lockers , changing rooms, freshwater showers and a snack bar.
My family of 5 had an amazing time on the excursion while in Grand Cayman. We did the pull and push. Our dolphin was very sweet. The trainer said she was 26 years old. It was a lot of fun. I would give a 5 star except for the pictures. The pictures were very high to me. And you have no choice if you want any because they do not allow any cameras.

Most wonderful experience in my life. Very well organized. Of course we went early morning and were like 3rd party in line. Very knowledgeable divers and so kind. Can't believe they do this every day. Pics a little pricey

The dolphin and turtle farm was great. However you need to give more information regarding how to get to the farm. A cab was $8 per person each way but a bus was only $2.50 per person. There was 7 of us so a cabin cost $56 each way.

Swimming with the Dolphins was just wonderful!!! The trainers were friendly , knowledgable and fun! The main idea for the company though was to snap pictures of you and the dolphins and charging an enormous amount for the photos. We were NOT allowed to take our own photos! The photos cost just as much as the excursion itself!
The sessions were overbooked; although everyone got to experience all of the activities, it made each session delayed!
