Half-Day Barcelona Experience

Your adventure begins with your expert foodie guide who will provide you with an insider's perspective on Spain's unique culinary culture and traditions. You will meet in front of one of the city's most beloved local market.

Your first stop is an olive oil shop. It is here where you will taste up to five different olive oils and learn why it's considered a superfood in the Mediterranean. This is just the beginning of a full evening of winning dining experience. From there, you'll head over to a local Charcuteria, the Spanish word for "deli," which has been feeding the neighborhood for decades. Here you'll try an assortment of gourmet local cheeses and charcuterie, including chorizo and the famous Iberian ham. You'll also learn how to drink from a traditional Catalan pitcher called a porro. There's a knack to it, but don't worry, your guide will show you how to drink like a true Catalan.

Your next stop is a little stand that has been a Barcelona institution since opening its doors to the public back in 1920. Here you can get an ice-cold horchata, a sweet drink made from nuts that are beloved throughout Spain and Mexico. We'll fill up some to-go bottles and march on because there is a lot more to see and taste.

As you approach the vibrant barrio of Poble Sec, you will make your way down a buzzing pedestrian street to the local favorite pintxos bar which specializes in a style of tapas originating in the Basque Country. Choose two from their extensive spread and wash them down with a complimentary glass of txakoli, a specialty sparkling wine from the Basque country. Before heading to your final stop of the night, head over to the top of Montjuic for incredible views overlooking the city and sea.

As the sun sets, hop into to a cable car down to the port, where, just like a local, you'll enjoy a stroll on the beach before heading over to a paella restaurant. It's not just a great meal that awaits you; it's an experience you will always remember.

Don't miss out on this incredible tour that will allow you to taste your way around the Iberian Peninsula without ever leaving Barcelona.

Please Note: This tour ends in central Barcelona.
