While this beautiful island is notably famed for its fantastic beaches, Barbados offers so much more! Include two of the most popular activities on this tour, journey inside Harrisons Cave and relax on one of the island's amazing beaches.
Your journey begins as you travel to Harrisons Cave, an active cave system located in the heart of Barbados. Measuring 2.3 km long with a cave height of 15 meters. This cave is one of the island's premier attractions, board an electric tram for an otherworldly ride through winding tunnels as you are driven through the interior. Observe stunning stalagmites and stalactites at every turn that are still growing to this day thanks to a continuous supply of water.
After emerging from under-ground you will next make your way to Pirates Cove on the northern end of Carlisle Bay near Bridgetown. This popular beach boasts the whitest sand on the island as well as 6 shipwrecks just offshore. You will be greeted with a welcome drink and escorted to your reserved lounger and beach umbrella for some relaxation and fun under the sun. Belly up to the bar for a cold glass of pirate's brew or a juicy pirate burger then enjoy a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters (food is at guest's expense). You can also elect to take a snorkel cruise to admire the turtles, starfish, rays and other marine life or stay on land and pick up a souvenir or two at the local craft stalls.

This execution was a great experience for kids and adults. After learning about the Harrison Cave, we spent some time on the beach while enjoying local food and drinks.

It was by far the longest excursion of the cruise and it was nice not to feel rushed. Just FYI, you take a tram into the caves - no hiking (barely walking) is required. It was interesting to see and very comfortable inside the caves. We got to spend about 2 hours at a very nice beach (Pirate Beach?). Lunch wasn't included but we got drink tickets for soda. I would definitely recommend this excursion. It was a great day!
Was very fun! Staff were very professional and helpful!

We were concerned about take an excursion that wasn't through the cruise ship. Our worries were for nothing. It was easy to find the tour company at the port. Our driver was friendly and knowledgeable. Harrison's Cave was enjoyable, but not as large as many of the U.S.caves . It was nice to be on a tram which ran on a paved surface. Be prepared to be dripped on by drops of cave water! The guide was well versed and made the adventure interesting. On to the beach! It was so beautiful and inviting. Covered loungers were available as were hammocks and a play area for kids. You had to have a ticket to enter, so it was not crowded. The excursion included a drink. A reasonably priced buffet lunch of island food was available or you could order a hamburger, etc. We had the buffet ,which was delicious, and ate sitting at the outside covered bar area. There was a calypso group playing and singing. This location was my husband's favor part of our cruise experience. Very relaxing.
