Interested in ancient history? Make a stop at the excavation site of The Teatro Romano, an amphitheatre that dates back to the third century. While there, explore the nearby Alcazaba, a fortification built by the Moors in the 11th century. Be sure to enjoy their museum and gardens. The Alcazaba connects to Castillo de Gibralfaro, high atop Mount Gibralfaro. From there you can see dramatic views of the city and the Mediterranean Sea.
Malaga is the birthplace of Pablo Picasso. Malaga's Museo Picasso is home to 285 works by the artist, but your art exploration doesn't end with the life of Picasso. Visit Centro de Srte Contemporaneo for contemporary artwork and international pieces from other major artists as well.

The Red and Green Routes run every 30 minutes and it takes approximately 80 minutes to complete the routes without getting off. The pictures that you can take from the top of a double decker bus are far superior to any taken from ground level. We also had the added perk of being able to listen (in one of 7 languages) to a description and brief history of many of the sites that we passed. This makes for a most relaxing and enjoyable way to see a city when you have limited time.

Great Way to get around and see the city overview quickly in the morning. Then you can decide how to spend your afternoon and use the bus for transport.
