Hop-on Hop-off Malaga Highlights Tour

Interested in ancient history? Make a stop at the excavation site of The Teatro Romano, an amphitheatre that dates back to the third century. While there, explore the nearby Alcazaba, a fortification built by the Moors in the 11th century. Be sure to enjoy their museum and gardens. The Alcazaba connects to Castillo de Gibralfaro, high atop Mount Gibralfaro. From there you can see dramatic views of the city and the Mediterranean Sea.
Enjoy audio tours of Malaga Cathedral, a Renaissance church located near Alcazaba that features hand-carved choir stalls, beautiful artwork, and a grandiose alter. Just south is Malaga Beach. Sand was imported from the Sahara desert in the late 1800s to create this beautiful beach. Be sure not to miss Plaza de Toros, Malaga's bull ring, while on your tour, and take some time to enjoy the the city's beautiful gardens and flower markets. La Concepcion - Jardin Botanico-Historico dates back to the 19th century and features Roman statues and many exotic flowers, while Mercado de las Flores is a popular flower market. You can also visit the monuments and tombs of Cementerio Ingles, the first protestant cemetery in Spain.

Please Note: There are 2 bus routes that follow the same, seasonal schedule. The Red and Green Routes run every 30 minutes and it takes approximately 80 minutes to complete the routes without getting off. During the winter months (December through February), the Red and Green routes run every 20 minutes. The tours are narrated in English, Spanish, German, Italian, French, Portuguese, Dutch, and Russian. First and last tour times will be detailed in your electronic ticket.

When you are staying on a city for a short time and you want to see most of it the hop on hop off is a good way of transporting from one attraction to other in a cheaper way with some guidance.
