Muscat is a magnificent city with many interesting landmarks. This bus tour will take you to all the major highlights with a comfortable and easy ride between each stop. Museums, a watchtower, and palaces are among the ten locations on your journey. Your complimentary map lays out all the stops and schedules during this exciting day, and recorded commentary gives you the inside scoop on all the attractions.

Starting at Mutrah Suq in the morning you will be given a map that includes all of the stops ahead of you with times and information about each. The commentary that is included throughout the day comes in six languages. The picturesque ride brings you along the coast with a stunning view of the Sea of Oman. With more stops than any other bus tour, this day includes Muttrah Fort, Sultan's Armed Forces Museum, the Watchtower, and Al Alam Palace. When you are not cruising along the sea, you will be surrounded by a backdrop of the beautiful mountains of Oman. Bring your camera because this is a day you will want to capture and share with your friends and family back home.

Your ticket is valid for 24 hours during operating hours, every day of the week. Please note that during the Holy Month of Ramadan, opening hours of attractions may change.

Recommended Dress
Comfortable lightweight summer clothing and walking shoes is suitable for most of the year, but sweaters or jackets may be needed for the winter months, especially in the evenings. Good quality sunlasses are advised, and photo-chromatic lenses for those who wear spectacles. Hats and some protection for the head are advisable when in direct sunlight. The United Arab Emirates has conservative dress traditions. Swimwear must be confined to the beach and hotel pools. Men and women should ensure shoulders and knees are covered when in public, especially in souks, shops/malls and villages. Mosque Visit Dress Code: Loose long trousers or long skirts and long sleeves. No shorts for men, no tight and/or transparent clothing. Women must cover their head with a scarf.

Despite the fact that the conductor was reluctant to accept our e ticket we found the trip busy and informative. There is an audio system with 12 languages and plenty of spots to stop around the area. Catch the bus at the main souk, do some purchases too and enjoy the ambience. Most helpful at the end of our trip when the conductor decided to take the bus all the way to the Port for so many passengers off the ship in dock. A bonus. Worth the trip
