Island Hopping in the Fjord
The 100km long Oslo Fjord is a stunning inlet full of islands, cafes, restaurants and more. During this fun, 4-hour tour you will hop between islands like a local to hike forests, explore charming villages and visit historic sites.
Your local and knowledgeable Viking hiking guide will take you via ferry between 2 to 4 islands (depending on the season), including the small island of Hovedoya and Lindoya with its colorful summer cottages.
As you island hop you will quickly notice how each island has its own personality and history worth exploring. Along the way you will get to explore the ruins of an abbey close to 1,000 years old, stroll flower-covered paths, view traditional wooden cabins and enjoy a delicious picnic on the sands of a hidden beach.
Remember to bring your swimsuit so you can take a refreshing dip in the warm (yes, warm) waters of the fjord.
Sign up today and prepare to discover the magical Oslo Fjord and its islands.
This excursion was a fun and different way to explore Oslo. We had a chance to explore a few islands in the Fjord and the guide was very knowledgeable!
