Glide Above the Treetops and Zipline Juneau, Alaska's Rainforest Canopy

Alaska's Ultimate Canopy and Zipline Expedition is an eco-adventure that features the thrill of gliding above the treetops in a rich rainforest on over 6,000 feet of dual zip lines, suspension bridges, and a ground-based trail network. Also included on this Juneau shore excursion is an ascending drive through the scenic Tongass National Forest.

You'll be outfitted with top-of-the-line equipment and given a safety briefing. Your guide will be there every step of the way to assist you in this exciting adventure. Our tours never exceed a 1:6 guide-to-guest ratio, so you'll receive plenty of attention along the way! As you walk up the scenic staircase, you'll come to the first platform. Once you're clipped into the double cable zipline, you'll glide away from the forest floor and instantly transition from a bear's eye view to a bird's eye view.

During the tour, you'll view the alpine forest and unique flora and fauna from a VERY unique perspective. You can also enjoy the views from our new aerial suspension bridge! With handrails, and being clipped in from above, you'll safely traverse the bridge. Along your journey, you will cross many brooks and meandering streams. The area provides scenery of old-growth trees that are upwards of 400 years old. Get familiar with the Sitka spruce and western hemlock trees. If you are fortunate, you may even view local wildlife.

On the final platform, you will land in our new, uniquely designed tree-house. After a guided, interpretive walk back to the lodge, you can purchase a locally brewed beer or fresh lemonade to sip while you watch the video presentation from your tour. You will have an opportunity to purchase additional snacks, beverages, t-shirts, and many other gifts. You may even want to purchase "proof" of your adventure--your photos!

You will have the opportunity to learn about the fascinating eco-systems of southeast Alaska through photographs and narrative. This tour is the perfect choice for a misty day because we provide rain gear, and you will have shelter throughout the rainforest canopy. Also, following the zipline tour, you will have the opportunity to try your hand at Axe Throwing and embrace your inner lumberjack! Safety gear and instructions will be provided by their guides for a fun and exciting outdoor challenge.

Please note: Tour operates in all types of weather, within safety guidelines.

Everyone was great. The zip lining was heaps of fun and then to finish it off so well, we did axe throwing which I’d never done before. Now I want my husband to build one in our backyard!!! Small group and Lots of time to do everything and no rush which was great . We were kept safe and well entertained by our hilarious guides. Highly recommend this activity.

Juneau Zip Line

This was fun although I did not have the best day for it since it was raining, but the scenery was still beautiful. The guides were great! Do wish there were some longer zip lines, can never get too much of a good thing.

I have done some great stuff while traveling but this so far is the best. The staff and the experience is unparalleled. Our guides Adam and Caitlyn(sp) were so fantastic, patient and knowledgeable. When I do this again I want them to work with me.

Worth every penny

Wife and I, ages 59&60, took this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to fly through the Alaskan wilderness hanging by a harness. Wow! Lived it. The thrill of these five ziplines through the woods, over small rivers and deep valleys, was made even better by the attitudes of our guides, Jake and Isaac. They were great. Some of our best pictures and video are of this adventure. As first time zipliners we were pleasantly surprised at the reduntancy of safety features. Always attached to something we never had the opportunity to fall. Loved every minute of it. What a great memory.
