Tour Details

Your journey begins when you and your small group are transferred to a North Shore beach to start your morning with a beautiful beach walk. From there you will travel to Paia Town, a picturesque place full of colorful American hippie ex-pats who have totally embraced the surfer lifestyle. Enjoy 1 hour to explore the towns' charming boutiques and restaurants in a casual, laid back atmosphere.

Continue on to scenic Ho'okipa Beach Park, a mecca for the windsurfing crowd. If you are lucky, you might just see professional windsurfers navigate the strong surf as you explore old lava flow tide pools. Then it's back on the coach for a scenic ride through the Iao Valley rainforest with its lush, green vegetation surrounding you on every side. This state park just west of Maui is located on 6.25 acres and contains the famous Iao needle, a sharp ridge that takes on the shape of a spire and was once used as a natural altar.

While in the area you will also visit Kepaniwai Park and Heritage gardens, a beautiful garden park dotted with houses and temples to commemorate the various immigrants who came to Maui to work the farms. This family-friendly tour is perfect for those who are short on time yet want to gain a good overview of Maui's beaches and rainforest. Sign up today.
