Blue Lagoon Dolphin Swim

In the Blue Lagoon Dolphin Swim Program, you receive the unique opportunity for playful, educational interaction with these wonderful animals in the beautiful turquoise waters of a natural ocean lagoon. Your program to swim with dolphins begins with a fun orientation, briefly covering the natural history of dolphins, animal training techniques, ocean conservation and Watchable Wildlife Guidelines.

Upon arrival on the island, you will begin your dolphin program. The program portion is one hour including the orientation. Once in your life jacket, experience the joy of a dolphin kiss and fall in love with their gentleness as you hug a dolphin in your arms. Dance and sing with the stars then marvel at the dolphin's strength as you are propelled across the lagoon in the finale behavior --- the foot push! On this Nassau shore trip, trainers focus on allowing everyone to enjoy a high degree of interaction with the dolphins, and at the same time, teach you about these amazing animals in their natural habitat.

The professional photo & video staff will be capturing your encounter so that you will have a chance to purchase and take home incredible souvenirs of your once-in-a-lifetime experience. Photos begin at approximately $16 US and videos at $58 US.

After your experience, enjoy a day in the sun. You can swim in the calm lagoon and relax on the beach. Big Boss Noodles, Inner-Tubes, and unsinkable float mats are available for rent. You also have use of the breathtaking lagoon beach area including hammocks, and picnic tables. Beach umbrellas and beach chairs are available on a first come basis. There are free small lockers, changing areas and showers for use. Use of volleyball, basketball and game areas as well as views from the observation areas of the Dolphin Encounters' amazing all-natural habitat where you can see the friendly dolphins and sea lions.

Other water sports (paddle boats, aquabikes, kayaks, snorkeling gear and others) and drinks (soft drinks, daiquiris, piña coladas, beer, wine and other mixed drinks) are available at the Tropical Beach Bar at an additional cost. A grilled lunch, and refreshing tropical drinks are available for purchase. The transfer to/from the island is included from the ferry terminal on Paradise Island.

Guests participating in a animal encounter can return to the mainland on ferries departing the island at 11:00am, 1:00pm, 2:00pm with the last ferry departing from Blue Lagoon at 4:00 for all guests booked on an encounter before 2:00pm. Ferries arrive at the Paradise Island ferry dock approximately 30 minutes later. Guests on the 3:30 encounter only will have a special ferry that departs the island at 6:00pm returning to Paradise Island at 6:30pm. Guests on the 3:30 encounter will not have beach time after the encounter as the beach closes at 4:00pm.

Note: Non-participants may observe those in their party who are taking part in a dolphin program. There is a $25 US fee per observer for the ferry ride from Paradise Island to Blue Lagoon. This observer fee is payable directly to the ferry and no reservations are necessary.

At the program areas you can take your own photos or videos from the public dock areas. However, be advised: we cannot guarantee an unobstructed view of all dolphin interactions & observers are not allowed on the platforms at any time. Sorry no exceptions.
