Private Copenhagen Kayaking

This active, 2-hour private tour takes you up through scenic Frederiksholm Canal which winds its way around the city's historical center. Copenhagen's inner harbor scene has blossomed in recent years to include kayaking, floating concerts, barbecue evenings and spa and sauna treatments.

New to kayaking? Not a problem! Once you reach the kayaking base your trained kayak instructor will provide a safety briefing, assist with your equipment and help you onto a stable, easy-to-use sea kayak. You will then join your knowledgeable paddling guide who will be with you every stroke of the way to ensure your safety and comfort.

Take to the water and enjoy close-up picturesque views of the National Museum, the Thorvaldsen Museum and the Old Stock Exchange that you simply cannot get from a typical, land-based tour.

At Christiansborg Palace you will meet its underwater statue Agnete and the Merman, a submerged group of 20th century bronze statues. Back in the harbor you will encounter an eclectic mix of modern buildings and historic warehouses dating as far back as the 15th century, including the new Royal Playhouse and Opera House that face each other across the harbor.

While on the water you will pass by the Kissing Bridge, one of the newest landmarks in Copenhagen, which connects the inner city to Holmen. Paddle past Nyhavn with its colorful houses, inviting restaurants and countless bars, then glide into the picturesque Christianshavn Canal with its Dutch-style, steep-gabled houses.

The Royal Library, also commonly called the Black Diamond, is the national library of Denmark and the university library of the University of Copenhagen. It is among the largest libraries in the world and the largest in the Nordic countries. This impressive sight welcomes you back into the harbor as you paddle your way to return to the kayak base.

This popular tour sells out fast as space is very limited! Don't miss out, reserve your kayak today and experience this scenic and historic city from the water making memories that will be the highlight of your cruise.
