Once you arrive in Florence, you and your professional tour guide will board a rowboat and begin your tour of the scenic Florentine area. From the boat, you'll see many sights, including the Palazzo della Borsa. The Palazzo, completed in 1860, is today the Chamber of Commerce.

Next, you'll see the Uffizi Gallery and Vasari Corridor, which is an aerial passageway that was used by the famous Medici family to travel. Then, you'll spot the Chiesa dei Santi Apostoli and Chiesa San Jacopo sopr'Arno, Ponte Santa Trinita, and finally, Palazzo Corsini.

Then, after returning to dry land, you'll visit the Piazza del Duomo, or Cathedral Square. The Duomo, completed in 1436, is one of the most iconic buildings in all of Italy. Its unique dome is a prominent feature of the Florentine skyline.

Stop by Piazza della Signoria, the political heart of the city from the Middle Ages to the present day, and the ornate Palazzo della Signoria, a 13th century house of government. Finally, conclude the guided portion of your tour in the Square of Santa Croce, one of Florence's most social and active areas.

Before departing, you'll be able to explore Florence on your own during two hours set aside for free time. Visit the historical landmarks, the city's many local and designer shops, or enjoy a traditional Italian meal, all at your own leisure.
