Private Italian Beer Tasting

Move over, Merlot! The craft beer scene in Tuscany is booming with robust IPAs quickly inching out the standard, lighter Peronis and Morettis.

Your tasteful experience starts as you meet your guide at the pier and enjoy a comfortable, scenic ride through the beautiful and picturesque Tuscan countryside. Arrive at Torre a Cenaia, a stunning estate where beer is produced from barley grown in its fields.

While here, you will learn how the barley is sent to a COBI (Italian Consortium of Producers of Beer) malt house to transform it into malt to produce beer. You will also learn the high symbolism used in the estate's operations, from the J63 Brewery name to the red crest on the bottles. Discover how beer is processed and produced, as well as the difference between each type of beers.

Then kick back, relax and enjoy a sampling of 3 different types of beers (Pilsner, Blonde, and Apple Doppelbock) along with a delicious appetizer of salami, Pecorino cheese, croutons and bruschetta with extra virgin olive oil.

Conclude your tour with some shopping if you wish and help with arrangements for your purchases to be shipped home before your return trip back to Livorno.

This 4.5-hour tour is a must-do for beer aficionados! Reserve your spot today and get ready to experience the intricate history, production and flavors of the Italian beer.
