Private Italian Pasta Experience
On this day tour, you'll get to enjoy all of the parts of the pasta-making (and eating) process. In Lari, an Italian village in the heart of Tuscany, you'll visit a famous local pasta factory. Lari, an ancient, hilly town, is well-known for its pasta.
The factory, Pastificio Martelli, is the most famous producer of limited-quantity, high-quality varieties of pasta in all of Italy. Only the factory's ownership family works in the factory, and they combine their long years of experience and passion to make the perfect pasta.
After the factory, you'll make your way to a local farmhouse. There, you'll enjoy a pasta cooking class with a local chef who will teach you the ins and outs of homemade pasta preparation. Following the chef's instruction, you'll knead, cut, roll, and fill several varieties of pasta.
Finally, after your cooking lesson, you'll be able to enjoy the fruits of your labor and eat a hearty meal of Italian pasta with wine. You'll have the chance to sample three distinctive, locally produced wine in the perfect culmination of this day in Tuscany.
