Santorini is the largest island in a circular archipelago about 200km (120 miles) off the coast of Greece and is part of the South Aegean Volcanic Arc.
Your private tour guide will pick you up and take you to Firostefani, one of the more popular villages on the island. Grab postcard perfect shots of the blue domed church while you learn about Santorini's history and how its geography was formed.
Continue to the traditional village of Oia with its cave houses built into the landscape. After a quick break on the cliff side with a cup of delicious Greek coffee you will head south and pause at one of the famous black beaches.
From there you will make your way to the mountain top of Profitis Ilias and be rewarded with spectacular panoramic views of the archipelago and the Aegean Sea from 600m (1200ft) above sea level.
While here, step into a Greek Orthodox chapel and listen to monks chanting Byzantine music, then sample their local wares.
Your private tour ends with a visit to a local farm where you will have a lesson in the special art of winemaking and sample homemade wines and local delicacies.
Throughout the tour, you will be introduced to Greek traditions and religion. This activity is the perfect introduction to this remarkable island and great for tourists with walking difficulties as steep paths and steps are avoided.
Please Note: Children up to 10 years of age are free. A bottle of water and wine tasting are included. We recommend wearing comfortable, sturdy walking shoes, a hat, sunscreen and sunglasses.

Our fabulous guide and host, Arsenio, took my cousin and me all over the island, pointing out all the special places, We even attended a church festival, and enjoyed the music and food! The most special visit was to the vineyard/farm, where we enjoyed delectable snacks and wines, The family was so charming and made us feel very welcome. Was a most memorable tour. Thank you so much, Arsenio!

We were so blessed to have Arsenios Machado from Santorini Experts as our tour guide. He was the BEST! So personable, warm, informative and fun! We did not want to leave him at the end of the tour5! He took us to so many beautiful places and the perfect photo spots. He also took us to a beautiful farm where its hostess Maria was an abundance of joy, information and graciousness. She showed us her wine cellars, her farm and her animals. She has a beautiful vineyard, goats, donkeys and she offered us tastings of her marmalades, wines, cheeses, etc...She makes the most incredible grape preserves and also tomato preserves. The eggplant spread is delicious too. We cannot say enough good things about Arsenios and Maria. We cannot wait to go back to Santorini soon! Perfect tour, perfect guide, perfectly stunning island!
