Private Panoramic Santorini
Santorini is the largest island in a circular archipelago about 200km (120 miles) off the coast of Greece and is part of the South Aegean Volcanic Arc.
Your private tour guide will pick you up and take you to Firostefani, one of the more popular villages on the island. Grab postcard perfect shots of the blue domed church while you learn about Santorini's history and how its geography was formed.
Continue to the traditional village of Oia with its cave houses built into the landscape. After a quick break on the cliff side with a cup of delicious Greek coffee you will head south and pause at one of the famous black beaches.
From there you will make your way to the mountain top of Profitis Ilias and be rewarded with spectacular panoramic views of the archipelago and the Aegean Sea from 600m (1200ft) above sea level.
While here, step into a Greek Orthodox chapel and listen to monks chanting Byzantine music, then sample their local wares.
Your private tour ends with a visit to a local farm where you will have a lesson in the special art of winemaking and sample homemade wines and local delicacies.
Throughout the tour, you will be introduced to Greek traditions and religion. This activity is the perfect introduction to this remarkable island and great for tourists with walking difficulties as steep paths and steps are avoided.
Please Note: Vehicles available for this tour accommodate groups of up to 6, 19 or 30 passengers maximum. Please take this information into consideration when booking.
Marcos was excellent and the first moment we met I felt comfortable enough to tell him all the high maintenance factors we had in our family. My father had mobility issues, my mother needed to use the bathroom a lot, and my husband is a photographer so we needed to capitalize on photo opts. He planned out tour perfectly and adjusted where needed to make sure all of us had the best afternoon in Santorini. Plus, he is super nice, knowledgeable and has a great sense of humour!

Santorini is in any case a beautiful island to visit, but apart from this, it turned out to be the absolute highlight of all our excursions, due to the fact that Marcos, our tour guide, was really excellent. We were a private group of only 4 people. He is very knowledgable and enthusiastic. Best of all he doesn't talk only because he likes the sound of his own voice, but provides interesting information! He was totally tuned in to our every need, and ensured at all times that we were comfortable. If Marcos will be your tour guide, this tour is highly recommended.

This was absolutely the best tour we went on. The driver was so knowledgeable. He was helpful, friendly and knew the city. We do photography and he tailored the tour to what we want to see. He knew all of the places to get the best shots. He was extremely courteous and helpful to my 88 year old mother-in-law. He changed the pickup and drop off spots so she would have to walk less and do more. He really had a love for the city and it came through on his tour.
Our tour guide Marcos was amazing! He provided the 5 of us a safe and exciting tour of the island. Marcos had a wealth of information on the history of Santorini and the current events of the island. He directed us to wonderful spots to see the best of the island and to great shops. We had the most wonderful baklava at a bakery in Oia. Marcos was very kind and had a great sense of humor. Out of all of our shore excursions on an 11 day cruise, we all enjoyed this excursion the best!!
