Scenic Dominica Drive
Scenic Dominica Drive
Unsurprisingly, Dominica is a true tropical delight. Tour through 40 acres of Botanical Gardens before visiting the hot springs in the village of Wotten Waven to reinforce your belief in Dominica's beauty. Thereafter, see the spectacular Twin Falls prior to traveling through Caribbean fishing villages, and the islet marking the end of the island.
This guided journey leads you through the most lush part of the city, the Botanical Gardens. Delight in the fragrant scents and vibrant, colorful fauna. Some trees are well over 100 years old.
Next, you'll ride through the Village of Wotten Waven, reaching the bubbling waters emitted from the earth due to geothermal activity. Nearby, folks often swim these natural, hot sulfur springs for rejuvenation.
You'll cross the River Blanc encountering Trafalgar Village. Take a moment to enjoy the phenomenal Twin Falls. Referred to as "Father" (to the left) and "Mother" (to the right), these waterfalls have been amazing visitors for ages.
Soon after, you'll pass through the fishing villages of Pointe Mitchel and Soufriere enroute to Scotts Head for a spectacular view of the valley. Upon reaching base, you'll see a remarkable islet between the Caribbean and Atlantic Seas. Reserve this Roseau tour through tropical paradise today.

A. Laflouf was excellent. Nice to be with a guide who is so proud of his home island. Knew just what we wanted to see. My husband is on oxygen so he appreciated the special care.

a. laflouf, Was the best guide we had on the whole trip. You can tell he loved his island and knew the history. Made sure we were back to the ship at the right time. He planned the slight seeing your beautifully.

We had the most enjoyable driver. Being the only two people on the drive, he explained a lot of the natural setting, history and enjoyed a lot of the products that are grown on the island. A very friendly guy made for a wonderful morning exploring the island!

This tour showed what Dominica had to offer. This tour had about 12-14 people, so the van was full. It was a bit difficult to see out the windows in the back of the vehicle. There was no restroom stop on the 4hour tour. It was informative, but the driver was difficult to hear if you were not sitting next to him.
