Recommended Dress We recommend wearing a bathing suit under comfortable clothing and sensible rubber-soled walking shoes. Sunglasses, sunscreen, and a towel are also suggested.
Restrictions Guests should have a general knowledge of swimming, and be at ease in the water. Guests must be 10 years of age to participate. Guests under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. All guests must fill out a medical questionnaire (See PADI.com for a copy of the questionnaire). Participants with heart conditions, a current cold or sinus congestion, epilepsy, asthma, diabetes, a severe medical problem, who are or may be pregnant, or who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs are not permitted to dive. If taking medication, consult your doctor before participating in this program.

Introduction To Scuba Diving

Have you ever dreamed of floating weightless amongst an array of rainbow fish and coral formations? Grab your chance at this introductory diving course in the bays of Malta!

Upon arrival, all participants must fill out a medical questionnaire (a copy of it can be seen on PADI.com). You will then have a short class on the basics of scuba before donning your included equipment and trying your new skills in a swimming pool with your instructor.

Once the instructor and you are sure you are ready, you will take a shallow one tank dive from the beach. The dive time is approximately 40 minutes, and the maximum depth is approximately 20 feet.

Back on dry land you will have a new perspective on the underwater world. From here you will drive back to the cruise pier, which is approximately 20 minutes away.

It was a dream of my daughter's to learn,shecswam competitively forc14 yrs. The whole experience couldn't have been better.the teacher was amazing,the organization was stellar,the place the scuba dived was beautiful.thank you!!

Malta - Introduction To Scuba Diving

Great Experience! Well organized. Met us at the designated pick up spot 50m from the ship. Hopped in the dive shop van and got a nice little scenic tour of Valetta. SCUBA instructions given were concise and easy to understand (given in English with pictures). Equipment provided was good too. Safety was a top concern. Instructors made sure all were comfortable with the gear prior to exploring underwatera and were very diligent. My kids (teens, 1st time diving) loved it!

Totally awesome

Great opportunity to try something new. So glad we did not miss out on the chance to try this. Guides were knowledgable, patient, attentive, and very helpful and understanding. Best excursion I have ever done! While the guides took their jobs very seriously and professionally, we also had a lot of fun with them especially Peter and Tatiana. Would recommend to everyone!

A Perfect 1/2 day!

Transportation to the Suba site also became a little tour by car through the city of Malta. The staff was incredibly accommodating.
