Visit one of the oldest cities in the world, likely founded over 3,000 years ago. It emerged as a nation state in the early 12th century. On each of the 2 routes, you can discover and explore at your own leisure the city's key sights, museums, gardens and attractions. Lisbon, a city of contrasts, offers so much to discover and surprise and still maintains the marks of its early history. It is heralded as one of the most beautiful capitals of Europe.

Your hop on - hop off bus tour allows you to explore the city on two routes with more than 40 stops. The stops are located around the city and enable you to hop on and off at your convenience with a ticket valid for 24 hours. There are so many attractions in Lisbon such as Jeronimos Monastery, built by the King D. Manuel I designed in Manueline architectural style and Torre de Belem, which are both classified by UNESCO as World Heritage Sites. Take a stroll through the many squares including the Praca do Municipio, Praca do Comercio and the Praca do Rossio. Pay a visit to the Museu do Oriente, Museu do Azulejo or Museu de Arte Antiga. Wander through the beautiful gardens at the Jardim da Astrela or the Jardim do Principe Real. If you appreciate the animal kingdom, perhaps you would like to spend time at the Oceanario de Lisboa or the Jardim Zoologico. Marvel at the city's cathedrals, mosques, and the exhibits in the Calouste Gulbenkian. And don't miss the renowned Palacio de Belem.

Great way to get an overview of the city.

4 StarsRed Line was the bestOctober 23, 2017

We took the Red Line in the morning and it was so interesting and we loved all things we saw. After the red line tour finished we went back to the ship to have lunch. We then came back out to do the Blue Line, we were confused on where to actually get the bus, it was really hot and we waited close to 40 minutes before the bus even came and we found the tour boring and not even comparable to the red line.

WE got to see lots of the main sights of Lisbon and much cheaper than the cruise ship excursion. Would do it again.

The bus provides 2 routes the old and new districts both gave us insights of past events and special structures. The guide was knowable and informative. We hop off twice and re-caught the bus with no problems. The weather was great and got a lot of pictures of historical sights. Would recommend this option if time is limited.
