Exclusive Skiff Fishing and Fresh Catch Wilderness Dining

This is why you came to Alaska - to experience an authentic fishing excursion in the unspoiled wilderness of Alaska's southeastern coastline. Your catch then becomes the centerpiece of a gourmet campsite meal that you will remember for a lifetime.

Once you are outfitted head to toe, board an open-air skiff and glide into a breathtaking landscape. Your experienced tour guide leads you to secluded locations for wildlife viewing and remote fishing in Ketchikan. Perfect for serious adventurers or families seeking a personalized tour, this Ketchikan shore excursion is customized to fit your interest and skill level. Everyone has their own rod and tackle and may experience the thrill of salmon fishing and bottom fishing and the exhilaration of landing salmon, rockfish, red snapper, lingcod or one of our specialties, Pacific halibut.

Your skiff then heads to a wilderness campsite where a crackling fire awaits. Settle into the stillness of the rainforest, rest on a beach log and breathe deeply among centuries-old spruce trees and fragrant cedars. Experience this outdoor culinary adventure as you watch the camp cook sumptuous saffron-infused bouillabaisse with Yukon Gold potatoes, anchored by the fresh taste of your morning catch, and accompanied by fire-baked fresh bread with a garlicky aioli and spicy rouille. Savor signature blueberry and rhubarb cobbler and steaming mugs of hot chocolate. By day's end you are swapping fish tales with friends old and new, content with the experience of a uniquely Alaskan way of life.

This Ketchikan port tour experience is very exclusive with a guide ratio of 3 to 5 passengers, making it ideal for families, small groups, or those looking to escape the crowds. Book today as not to miss out, space is very limited and sells out often!

Please Note: All participants ages 16 and older are required by the Alaska Department of Fish and Game to purchase a 1 day sport fishing license (not included, approximately $25 US). Licenses may be issued online on the Alaska Department of Fish and Game website, or on location with the guide.

Best excursion ever!,
September 22, 2019
Our Captain David was knowledge about the wildlife, patient with us and fun! We saw a humpback whale that came close to us, Orca’s, Bald Eagles and sea lions. The fishing camp is out of this world and they cook the fish you catch. When I say cook....Oh my it was AMAZING! This excursion was worth every penny I paid for it!,,

Exclusive Skiff Fishing and Fresh Catch Wilderness

I can't tell you what fun this was! We all caught fish and got to be out on the water on a beautiful day with David who was very passionate about the fish and the environment. We enjoyed his stories a lot. After fishing we went to their camp where our catch was prepared for us and we ate it. It was camping without any of the work. The people at the camp were wonderful as was David. This is a must do in Ketchikan!

Food was Delicious!

Beth was our tour guide and she took us to just the right spot to catch some fish. I would say that our cruiseline wasn't in port too long and it made for a tight schedule on the tour. But we went to the camp and the cook served the fish we caught, by far the best fish I have ever ate! So fresh and delicious! Our guide did talk alot about her family and we would've enjoyed more about Alaska, but all in all good time!

better than any 5 star restaraunt

I had the time of my life, our captain was awesome and he got us onto fish right away and between 3 of us we caught 4 cod, 2 spined rockfish, 2 halibut, a dog shark and a ratfish (very ugly). The shore lunch we had halibut and rockfish... I have never had a better meal... better than any 5 star restaurant!!! I highly recommend this!!!

excellent excursion, great for families
July 30, 2018
The excursion was one of the best days of our cruise. The boat launch was just around the corner from the cruise dock, and the staff and our skipper were very helpful getting us in our gear. The fishing was great, we caught some coho and rockfish. The wilderness camp is amazing. I would do this excursion again anytime.
