Half Day Cat Sail and Snorkel
St. Maarten Half Day Snorkeling & Catamaran Sailing
"Come Sail Away," the Styx song beckons. You'll be glad you joined the Half-Day Cat Sail and Snorkel Tour and did just that.
Sailing from the Great Bay of Philipsburg, you will see history, beautiful scenery and incredible villas and yachts as you sail along the coast past the ruins of Fort Amsterdam, Little and Cay Bays, and Pelican Key on your St. Maarten excursion.
The Catamaran holds up to 80 guests in comfort and is more than 50 feet in length. There is a spacious sun deck as well as a shaded area. Snorkel gear is available on your St. Maarten excursion for those wishing to explore the undersea world, and there is a freshwater shower for after, as well as restrooms on board. Juice, soda, water, and snacks will be available throughout the day. After the last snorkel stop, rum punch and beer will be added to the "open bar."
Depending on the weather conditions that day, your captain will set a course for best snorkeling stops. You may stop over a shipwreck, where you would have an unforgettable experience of watching underwater life. Be made near mullet bay beach, the lagoon, and bay lounge swimming, snorkeling, and just relaxing.
All too soon, it will be time to turn for home. On the return trip to Philipsburg, the friendly crew will pamper and entertain you with St. Maarten legends and some island music.

We did not have a catamaran as promised, there was not one available to us. There were about 10 people and we had a small boat. Even though I did not snorkel I enjoyed the outing very much. Our guide, Leroy was a very pleasant and jovial individual and I would certainly recommend him. (He also had a young helper with him who was very pleasant as well). Leroy went out of his way to make sure we had a good time. He took us to a beach and was able to get loungers for us at no cost. We had lunch and drinks as well. I would not hesitate to go on any excursion with him. Very, very nice guy.

The snorkeling was not great in that there was not a lot to see, but fun. The best part was riding in the boat and being told about the island. Loved the men that did the excursion!!

This was a wonderful tour. The captain and crew were gracious and very low key. We had a great time snorkeling, powering to a beach and great time relaxing at the beach. We went past the airport beach and saw where the planes land. Highly recommended for an easy going laid back time.

The island was hit hard by the hurricanes and so was our catamaran. We took a power boat to the snorkeling spot which was just ok as it was rough that day and poor visibility in the water. Still our guy threw some bread in the water so we could see a lot of fish. When we got back to shore he paid for anything that we wanted from the snack bar on the dock. We then to a bus ride to the airport. Throughout the trip our guide was very friendly and did everything possible to make it a nice excursion. I’m sure he’ll be great when he gets his boat back

Great time with the group. We were served turkey and cheese sandwiches, with unlimited Punch and soft drinks. Snorkel was a fantastic experience; the team took us to a helicopter crash site and we saw tons of fish. They also took us to an area of ruins where we could spend some time on the beach and just relax. Overall awesome experience!!
