Two Countries in One Day

Visit two countries in a single day. Your tour guide and driver will pick you up in Nice and drive you and your group along the French Riviera arriving in San Remo, Italy in just an hour. Once in San Remo, introduce yourself to the famous Italian markets offering brand name handbags, leather goods, clothes, and fashion accessories.

Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and stroll the old town while taking pictures of its ancient vaulted passageways, and authentic architecture. For lunch, be sure to try its delicious cuisine including pizzas and pasta. After lunch, visit the medieval village of Dolceaqua explore the narrow-paved alleys, ancient stone houses, an attractive humpback bridge, and a castle overlooking the town. While in Dolceaqua, spend some time tasting the olives grown in abundance in the region.

As you head back towards France along the Italian Riviera, you will stop in the Franco-Italian border town of Menton, nicknamed la Perle de la France (The Pearl of France); the capital of lemon trees and the Fete du Citron (the Lemon Festival). While in Menton, visit the old town and the Gothic church of Basilica of Saint-Michel, all while enjoying the splendid panoramas of the city.

While your guide-driver navigates back to Nice, or your port of departure, sit back and relax and smile knowing that you visited two countries in a single day.
