Victoria Whale Watching Tour

Whales, dolphins, porpoises, seals, and sea lions are waiting for you on this exciting Victoria whale watching tour. This environmentally-friendly tour in British Columbia uses a high speed expedition catamaran to transport you comfortably on your whale watching journey.

During this three-hour tour, you will have the opportunity to see four different types of whales: orcas (killer whales), humpback whales, grey whales, and minke whales. Other marine life visible on the tour may include seals, porpoises, dolphins, sea lions, and marine birds. The veteran crew utilizes an eco-friendly and whale friendly approach while on the water. Listen to the sounds of the Salish Sea through the on-board hydrophone.

For this whale watching cruise in Victoria, dress in comfortable layers and closed-toed shoes, and be prepared to get wet. Morning and afternoon tours are available from April to October. Please check in with the crew 30 minutes prior to your tour departure time.

Please Note: The tour will return to the meeting location 3 hours after departure. If you have chosen the afternoon tour, please take a taxi to return to the ship, as you will return after the last departure for many shuttles. The shuttles operate on a 20-minute schedule and cost $6 CDN (not included).

5 StarsLots to See - Staff and Boat Nice ExperienceSeptember 25, 2019

Even though we arrived late (due to slow transportation from ship) the staff greeted us and rushed us to dock where boat was waiting. The staff was friendly and informative, and boat was spacious with inside benches, large windows, front, back and top decks. We saw orcas, dolphins, blue whales, sea lions. The staff communicates with the other Tour skippers so we had a really good experience.

Couldn’t have asked for anything better!!! We had a very knowledgeable guide who took just the 7 of us on a small boat built for whale watching . Yes we saw humpback juveniles playing together, sea lions, and even a elephant seal all close up. My grandchildren, all young teens loved it!!!!!!

Great and well organized tour. The two Marine Biologists gave all kinds of good information and kept our expectations high and later, thanks to the Captain's experience in the area, we arrived in different areas where we managed to see some wildlife. Loved it!
