Recommended Dress We recommend wearing your swimsuit under comfortable, light clothing. As you will be walking through water during parts of the tour, please wear sneakers or walking shoes that can get wet and muddy. The depth of the water can vary, depending on the amount of rain. A towel, sunscreen, and sunglasses are suggested.
Restrictions The minimum age to participate is 6 years of age. Guests must be able to walk over gravel and packed dirt surfaces, many of which are uneven and at an incline. As you will be hiking in a tropical jungle, rain and moisture is to be expected and paths may be slippery with mud. Guests should be in general good health and moderate mobility.

Waterfall and Rainforest Hike

After driving from the town of Lahaina to the trail head, approximately 1 hour each way, you will set off on a 4-hour hike through a lush valley along Maui's famous road to Hana. During the hike, you'll enjoy the view of several scenic waterfalls up to 40 feet high!

Feel free to stop and take a refreshing swim in several of large pools you will find underneath the waterfalls. You can even leap from waterfall ledges into the pools below if you feel brave enough!

Your local and knowledgeable guide will make this 2.5-mile hike come alive with their extensive vocabulary of the local animal and plant species, and with their love of life in Hawaii. The elevation change is only around 200 feet, so the hike is not very strenuous. The hike will require some boulder scrambling for short distances in streams, so participants should be comfortable with crossing streams and uneven terrain.

You will be provided with a backpack containing mosquito repellent, bottled water, ponchos, lunch, and snacks. You don't want to miss this chance for a memorable Hawaiian waterfall hike, sign up today as space is very limited and will almost always sell out!

One of the best

This was one of the best excursions I have taken. Though we started out in the rain in a rain forest, the sun came out and we had a great time. The Flora and Fauna were beautiful. Highly recommend

We had the best time with Pasco. He was very helpful and informative. We had a wide range of abilities and ages in our group and he was able to entertain the younger kids while picking a pace that made everyone comfortable and happy. We would definitely do this hike again or one similar.

Jacob, our guide was full of knowledge, legends and humor. We ate native plants, swam in the waterfalls, hiked through the rain forest, crossed rushing rivers and made new friends. I would highly recommend this adventure.

Our family LOVED this. I was not sure what to expect, but it was better then that. Our guide was wonderful. She brought us to a place we could not see without them - and it was well worth it. Great snacks, great company..and JUMPING! My kids jumped into a waterfall. To top of off, we were the last stop so got dropped at the best shaved ice. It was world class!
