Tour Details

There's something special about the serenity of a sail across the blue waters of the Bahamas. With the whisper of the waves on the hull and the gentle warm ocean breezes across the bow, you will soon feel your cares slipping away.

Board your waiting catamaran and set out for one of the most beautiful reefs near Nassau. The boat features spacious deck area, both shaded as well as open to the warm Bahamian sun, so there is a place for everyone. The boat also has 2 bathrooms on board. As you sail to the reef, your crew will pass out the included snorkeling gear and give instruction on snorkeling.

Depending on the sea and weather conditions that day, your captain will set a course to a location where you will have the best snorkeling experience. Upon arrival at the snorkeling spot, your crew will join you in the water to answer any questions or concerns you might have about snorkeling before you explore the wonderful underwater world of coral and marine life. Snorkeling is from the boat in water that will be over your head. Flotation vests are required while in the water and come in large and small sizes. Small children and infants will need to provide their own. Time at the reef is approximately 60 minutes. As water temperature is usually 75 - 80 degrees in the "winter" and warmer in the summer months, wetsuits are not required or provided.

After your time in the water, climb back on board via the "snorkeler friendly" Stairway to the Sea and feel the wind in your hair as your catamaran makes the approximate one hour sail towards home. You will be treated to a complimentary rum punch, soft drink or bottled water. There is a cash bar on board for guests wishing additional drinks or snacks. The boat will make a stop near the cruise pier area on the way back into port for those guests wishing to go back to their ship. Or you can stay on as the boat returns to Paradise Island where you can disembark near the Atlantis Resort. Guests disembarking on Paradise Island are responsible for their own transportation back to the cruise pier at their own expense.
