Participants will meet their local guide and walk together to the flagship venue, Amiro Restaurant, while learning about the popular traditions of Neapolitan pizza making and Italian recipes along the way.
Once inside, the professional Neapolitan chef (pizzaiolo) takes over, offering detailed explanations about the pizza-making process and the rich traditions behind it. Guests will get a hands-on introduction to pizza preparation, including the main steps of preparing and shaping the dough and assembling the pizza, with techniques designed for home-style, high-temperature electric ovens.
While participants do not prepare the ingredients themselves, they will witness firsthand how fresh, high-quality ingredients, including buffalo mozzarella, San Marzano tomatoes, and fresh basil from the Mount Vesuvius area, are used to create an authentic Neapolitan pizza. The final cooking process, enhanced with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and the high temperature of the oven, brings the pizza to perfection.
