Learn to Scuba Dive Cozumel Excursion

Where better to learn to scuba dive than in Cozumel's warm, crystal-clear waters and incredible Barrier Reef? After arriving at the dive shop, you will meet your instructor and begin a small group class that will introduce you to the world of scuba diving.

After the instructor feels you have a good grasp on the basics, you will put on gear and practice off the beach. Thanks to the small size of your group, you will receive plenty of hands-on direction on this Cozumel excursion.

When everyone is feeling confident, your instructor will lead you to the boat and you will set off to the reef to try your hand at a one-tank dive with your instructor to a maximum of 40 feet.

Depending on the water conditions that day, your captain will take you to the best scuba location on the reef. You will be diving in the Marine Park. All guests will need to pay the captain a $2.50 US per-person cash user fee.

Was a fun experience. They said that Padi instructors knew good english. Hardly the case. Knew rough english. Instructor was nice but again breakdown in communication. Equipment was a little ragged and was fun finding the right sizes. First time in water is off this rocky death trap that scared my girlfriend and sis in law. Waves beating us against concrete and reef. no Bueno. they decided against the excursion. Bad first experience. Took us out to a reef and had a decent experience. I would say the non english speaking is dangerous esp for older or hard of hearing and slow to follow broken english. they have a pool to start in but its big enough for 1 person and instructor. Will eat all your time up learning that way. Could have been better. we chose this over Grand Cayman due to lendth of excusion.

5 StarsAn Excellent Dive ExperienceDecember 01, 2016

This was an excellent experience for a first time SCUBA dive. Cozumel has some great coral reefs and this dive proved to be full of adventure. I'd suggest having some snorkeling practice prior to trying SCUBA for the first time. Breathing under water is more mental than physical. If you can conquer breathing through a snorkel, you'll do great!

Vanessa the instructor really made the experience great. She was very knowledgeable. She helped my girlfriend really enjoy the experience since my girlfriend was a little nervous about diving.

It is great to find a dive training shop when you are out of your home country that you can trust - this is one of those places. With PADI as the governing body over this shop you are confident that your safety is just as important as your experience. And dollar for dollar, well spent money and very reasonable. Greatest part is you get to see amazing fish and corral with very little effort.

I can't recommend this excursion enough. If you love swimming and want to explore the under water depths, you MUST do this! I think I might want to get certified now. It was so much fun! The guides were great and the equipment was top notch. I never once felt unsafe. I honestly have no complaints.
