Recommended Dress We recommend wearing a swimsuit under comfortable clothing and shoes. A towel, sunglasses, and biodegradable sunscreen (for after the dolphin portion) is recommended. Sunblock, jewelry, watches, rings, bracelets, or any object which might scratch the dolphin is not permitted in the water with the dolphins.
Restrictions The MINIMUM AGE to participate is 8 years old. Children who are under 10 years old OR shorter than 4 feet 6 inches must be accompanied by one participating adult (18 years or older) per child. Children ages 10 years old or older OR at least 4 feet 6 inches tall can participate on their own (with no other children) when counted as an adult at booking. Guests ages 60–79 may participate in all dolphin programs provided they are fully independent, have no medical or mobility limitations, and can swim unassisted. Guests ages 80 and over may participate in the Dolphin Encounter only; other interactive dolphin programs are not permitted. Pregnant women may not participate in this tour for safety reasons. All participants should be competent swimmers and comfortable with the use of mask, fins, and snorkel. Each person is required to wear a life jacket. Sunblock, jewelry, watches, rings, bracelets, or any object which might scratch the dolphin is not permitted in the water with the dolphins. The instructors have the final say on what can and cannot be worn in the water with the dolphins. For security reasons, personal cameras are not allowed in the water, nor in the program area. A professional photographer will be on hand to take pictures, which will be available for purchase.

Dolphin Adventure Swim and Water Park

This dolphin program in Puerto Vallarta is designed to give you a safe and engaging opportunity to interact with one of the ocean's most intelligent animals. With a small group of up to 8 guests, you'll enjoy a fun, memorable experience guided by a professional trainer.

Your experience will begin with an educational briefing led by a professional trainer, introducing dolphin anatomy and habits, including their senses of smell and taste. You’ll then step onto a submerged platform to enjoy a series of guided interactions with one dolphin.

On the platform, activities may include Dolphin Embrace (touch or hug), Dolphin Sight (vision), and Heart to Heart (soul). Following the platform portion, guests will take part in group free-swim time in the water as the dolphin circles around and responds to different sounds. The dolphin program lasts approximately 50 minutes, with a maximum of 8 guests per platform and one dolphin.

In addition to your dolphin experience, this tour also includes a 15-minute sea lion interaction (out of water). This fun and relaxed session gives you the chance to observe and interact with one of the most playful marine mammals.

Once your marine life encounters are complete, enjoy lunch from the swimmer's menu and spend the rest of the day at Aquaventuras Water Park. The park features water slides, a lazy river, a dolphin show, and a sea lion show.

Admission to the park is included with your dolphin program. Guests who wish to observe but not participate in the dolphin activity may do so by purchasing regular park admission.

Please Note: The tour duration reflects the dolphin interaction only. Time spent at the water park is on your own and not included in the listed duration. Transfer time to and from the park is also not included. This tour requires one participating adult for each child participant. Bring along cash for locker rental, as well as for food and beverage purchases. Shower and restroom facilities are available. The park's hours of operation are 10 AM - 5 PM. Water attractions operate from 11 AM - 5 PM. The opening hours are subject to change without notice.
