Recommended Dress We recommend wearing lightweight, comfortable clothing and sturdy closed-toe hiking or walking shoes appropriate for uneven natural terrain. If you plan to swim at the waterfall, be sure to bring a swimsuit and towel. A hat, sunglasses, and biodegradable sunscreen are also recommended for your comfort throughout the excursion.
Restrictions The minimum age to participate is 6 years old. Each Jeep accommodates a maximum of 3 participants. Those wishing to drive must be 21 years or older and present a valid driver's license. Participants should be in good physical condition and comfortable walking on uneven natural terrain, including dirt paths, rocks, and inclines, as well as traveling over uneven and off-road roads. This excursion is not wheelchair accessible and is not recommended for pregnant guests, those with serious heart conditions, significant back problems, recent neck, back, hip, or spinal injuries, or anyone sensitive to bumpy or uneven roads. Swimming at the waterfall is optional. Guests who appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate.

The experience includes scenic Jeep travel, hiking, a visit to a waterfall, optional swimming, and a traditional Baja-style lunch.

Your adventure begins at Plaza Gali, conveniently located a short walk from the Cabo San Lucas cruise tender terminal. Meet your private bilingual guide before traveling by Jeep or Jimmy toward the Santiago area. As you leave Cabo San Lucas behind, the landscape gradually changes from the coastal resort corridor to the rugged desert and mountains of Baja California Sur. The drive to Fox Canyon and Sol de Mayo takes approximately 90 minutes, providing scenic views of the countryside along the way.

Once you arrive at Sol de Mayo, spend approximately 2 hours exploring the surrounding natural area. Follow your guide through the canyon and along natural trails leading to a beautiful freshwater waterfall and natural pool. Take time to enjoy the scenery, hike through the canyon, capture photos, and relax in the peaceful surroundings. An optional swim in the natural pool may be available when weather and water conditions permit.

After exploring the canyon, enjoy approximately 1 hour for a traditional Baja-style lunch featuring tacos, rice and beans, guacamole, salsa, tortilla chips, and one non-alcoholic beverage. Bottled water is also provided during the excursion.

Depending on the day's schedule and road conditions, the journey may include a brief photo stop at the Tropic of Cancer monument before continuing back toward Cabo San Lucas. Enjoy the scenic return drive to Plaza Gali, where your excursion ends.
