Ride across the stunning landscape in a comfortable four wheel drive vehicle with your expert guide on this exciting full day tour in Oman. As your excursion unfolds, you will see unique camel breeding farms, the amazing wadis known as best in Oman, plantations filled with dates and bananas, as well as pristine crystal rock pools. Your day long 4x4 journey begins in the morning when you will meet your guide at the Muscat Port gate. Your first stop is Barka, where you will see a Camel Breeding Farm that is famous for its Omani thoroughbreds. Throughout this fascinating village, you will enjoy the scenic views that include an immense date plantation.

Your next stop is one of the most stunning wadis, Wadi Abyadh. Not only will you be happy to take a refreshing dip in the crystal clear rock pools, you will get to observe the many ophiolite rocks covering the area. Your journey continues as you move to Wadi Mistal, where you will visit two villages, Hadash and Wekan. Your picnic lunch will be served right before going to visit Wakan, the "Agriculture Village," which sits 1700 meters above sea level. Comfortable lightweight summer clothing and walking shoes is suitable for most of the year, but sweaters or jackets may be needed for the winter months, especially in the evenings. Good quality sunglasses are advised, and photo-chromatic lenses for those who wear spectacles. Hats and some protection for the head are advisable when in direct sunlight. The Sultanate of Oman has conservative dress traditions. Swimwear must be confined to the beach and hotel pools. Men and women should ensure shoulders and knees are covered when in public, especially in souks, shops/malls and villages.

Must be able to get in/out of vehicle. Normal tourist photography is acceptable, but it is considered offensive to photograph Arab women. It is also courteous to ask permission before photographing men. Photographs of government buildings, police or military installations are not allowed.
