Private Half Day Bordeaux

Your local, friendly representative will escort you to your comfortable ride, equipped with an internal PA system with live commentaries and descriptions during the drive, audible no matter where you are seated. Your knowledgeable, English-speaking driver / wine guide will offer a very intimate and one-on-one experience with you and your family or friends. Bottled water is provided in your van as you travel in air-conditioned comfort, and you will find Wi-Fi available onboard as well.

Soon you will be introduced to the prominent wine regions of the area, known and revered the world over. The drive to one of the Bordeaux vineyards should take no more than an hour. You'll have time to visit 1 or 2 carefully selected winery tours in this half day excursion from Bordeaux. Choose the wine region that interests you and travel at your own pace on this highly customizeable tour.

In the Saint Emilion or the Margaux wine region, you will find the two most famous wine producing regions of the area, Saint Emilion and the Medoc. Combining both sightseeing with a visit to one of the wineries will allow the opportunity to get the feel of the area. The Saint Emilion is a perfect introduction, but if you are eager to find out more about the wines of Bordeaux, then the Medoc wine producing area is the best Bordeaux destination for you.

In Saint Emilion, you can experience a visit and an informative wine tasting session in a carefully selected winery. After your visit, you could stop at the village of Saint Emilion and follow your guide on a short walking tour, followed by some free time in this beautiful medieval village.

In Margaux, visit the vineyards with detailed commentary and a wine tasting session in two carefully selected wineries. Combining Grand Cru Winery with a local, family owned estate is a popular choice, to make the most out of your Medoc wine experience.

The tour is fully customizable depending on your wishes, if you would like to add a visit that is missing from this description, do not hesitate to let your guide know.

Please Note: Tasting fees in the wineries are not included and are payable upon arrival. Each tasting may cost approximately 30 EUR per person, per tasting. Entrance fees to monuments, museums, or attractions, and meals will be extra and at your discretion. Lunch can be organized in Bordeaux or in the wine region that you have chosen.
